Dartmouth Park and Ride

The park and ride service runs between Easter and the end of October, every 10 minutes, or 20 minutes on a Sunday. The service runs from the car park just outside Dartmouth on the A3122, where it joins with the A379 by Lidls supermarket, to Dartmouth town centre.

Tickets can be obtained from the pay and display machines in the car parks. The tickets are in two parts: one to show the bus driver; and one must be displayed on the car. The driver will issue a zero value return ticket to everyone that boards the bus, this must be shown to the driver for the return journey.

Dogs are permitted on the Park and Ride bus

All day tickets cost £5.00 or £3.00 after 2pm

Car Parks in Dartmouth

There are 2 car parks in Dartmouth, Mayors Avenue and The Old Market.

Mayors Avenue is supported by Ringo App for parking and run by South Hams DC: May to Sept there is a maximum of 4 hours that can be booked in one session. There is also a delay before you can re – book, so this cannot be done for a whole day.

The Old Market car park is run by Dartmouth Town Council and parking is free of charge.   However Tuesdays and Fridays are our Market days and no parking is available on these days.

On street parking on the North Embankment is free during the winter months.

During the summer season most on-street parking is limited to one or two hours.

There are two disabled parking bay in Market Square car park which are free of charge.

Coach Parking in Dartmouth

Coaches are able to park at the Park and Ride at the top of the town, however drivers are allowed to drop people off and pick up at the Embankment.The OldÂ
