During these months the town car park in Mayor's Avenue is Short Stay (4 hours maximum) and we recommend visitors to use the Park and Ride (TQ6 0JL) on the A3122 Totnes road by the Dartmouth Leisure Centre and opposite Sainsbury's. In 2011 the Park and Ride service will commence on 19th March.

There is a daily rate for 24 hour parking - £5.00 per car (maximum number of people 6) and Weekly Permits are available from the Information Centre - £32.00 per car per week (these also cover other Long Stay Car Parks in the South Hams).
Change is needed for the daily tickets as they are issued by machine.
For more information on car parks and charges please refer to www.southhams.gov.uk
Between 1st May to 30th September most on-street parking is limited to one or two hours.

Weekly Permits - £32.00 for 7 days.  Available to purchase from the Information Centre.  Park and Ride buses run from 08.00 until 18.40 Mon - Sat; 09.30 until 18.40 on Sun.  Frequency every 10 - 15 minutes.  If the last bus is missed the Park and Ride ticket is valid on the 90/90A buses to Townstal, which run regularly until 23.00.
