Falcon of Dartmouth is a 31 foot boat operated by owner and skipper Tony Hoile specialising in Coastal and Dart Estuary trips with an emphasis on watching seabirds, seals and other wildlife such as Peregrine Falcons, and sometimes basking sharks, dolphins, turtles and sunfish. A coastal trip for 2-3 hours on Falcon will take passengers to inaccessible coves under the spectacular cliffs and around to the Mewstone Rocks, home to the most easterly colony of Atlantic Grey Seals. The Dart Estuary and its tranquility and beauty can be explored at a slow pace in small groups. The explorations are informative and entertaining.
Licensed for 12 passengers, the Falcon operates daily 2 or 3 hour trips, but may be privately hired for trips for the whole day or evening where you can provide your own picnic lunch/supper.
