In its picturesque waterfront position The New Angel maintains it's Michelin star and 3 AA rosettes under the guidance of celebrity chef John Burton-Race with head chef James Barber to produce exquisite food. John's philosophy is to take the best seasonal produce that Devon has to offer and serve it in a simple fashion with professional and cheerful service.

The downstairs is lively and entertaining whilst upstairs has a more intimate and sophisticated feel. On the second floor there is a decadent cocktail lounge with stunning views of the Dart and across to Kingswear.

The menu is prepared daily and features a wonderful selection of dishes created using the freshest ingredients from the local and surrounding areas, complemented by an extensive wine list featuring beautiful wines from both France and the New World.
