AboutDevon is blessed with the most stunning countryside, a lot of which is accessible to people with mobility problems, people in wheelchairs, families with pushchairs, toddlers on scooters or people who simply prefer a flatter or more easy-going surface without having to clamber over stiles or climb steep slopes. As the Highway Authority for Devon, the County Council is responsible for over 3,070 miles (4,940km) of public rights of way. All rights of way in Devon are mapped and available to see online at www.devon.gov.uk/mylocalpaths
